Figure 1: The fire of Jufeng Co., Ltd
- Jufeng Co., Ltd is a 100% Chinese invested enterprise specializing in the production of plastic products and has about 2,000 workers. The fire occurred at a workshop containing a lot of plastic and oil with an area of about 10,000 m2.
- At about 6 pm on November 14th, 2021 at Quang Chau Industrial Park, Viet Yen district, Bac Giang province, Vietnam, a big fire broke out at Jufeng New Materials Vietnam Co., Ltd.
- Firefighters and functional forces were present at the scene soon after and tried to control and localize the fire to prevent it from spreading to neighboring areas. But, the fire is too big, moreover, this is a plastic factory, there are many flammable materials, in addition, this area also has a large oil tank that has caught fire, so the authorities can't intervene, they only prevent the fire from spreading to neighboring workshops. At 8 pm, the fire was extinguished, but the warehouse of more than 5,000 m2 was completely consumed by the fire.
The functional forces had to peel off each layer of the corrugated iron roof to spray cooling water.
According to initial statistics, the fire has not recorded any loss of life, but the property damage is very large.
