TK Chemical’s warehouse in Thuan Thanh II Industrial Park, Bac Ninh stores a wide range of chemicals: plating chemicals, surface-treatment chemicals, industrial solvents, and chemicals that are flammable, explosive, corrosive, oxidising, acutely toxic or hazardous to the environment.
To prevent and respond to incidents, the company had built its chemical incident prevention and response Measures. On 29 September 2023 it ran a drill following exactly the scenario set out in those Measures.
The drill was witnessed by Mr Hoang Anh Tuan, Deputy Director of the Bac Ninh Department of Industry and Trade, together with officers of the Safety Technology and Environment Division.
The company’s incident command directed the teams under the four on-the-spot principle: forces on the spot, equipment on the spot, command on the spot, logistics on the spot.
